PARTIAL ENVELOPE WITH ELEVEN UNITED STATES POSTAGE STAMPS AND INK POSTMARK ON IT
Eleven stamps and part of the envelope that shows the light ink postmarks.
1 cent stamp with the drawing of an American Kestrel perched on a twig on it. It is a lovely small falcon with red and blue-grey color feathers. Printed in 1995.
10 cent stamps (2 stamps) with the drawing of Apollo and Soyuz spacecrafts docked in space in front of the Earth on it. Probably created for the 20th aniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Space Test Project (dated 1975). This was the last Apollo mission and was not numbered (however sometimes refered to as Apollo 18). Whilst the Soyuz was given a mission designation number (Soyuz 19) as part of the ongoing Soyuz program.
10 cent stamp with the drawing of docked Apollo and Soyuz space ships in space in front of Earth on it. (Different angle then the other two stamps.)
37 cent stamps (7 stamps) with the drawing of the American Flag waving in the wind on it. Printed in 2002.
The black ink postmarks are not very clear (quite light) and dated August 28, 2008.
