0.5 kurus stamp (green) printed in some time mid 20th century (about 1950s) with a picture of some Tiftik Goats (Tiftik Kecileri) on it. The goats are famous for the long, soft, white wool that is used for making clothing items.
1.5 kurus stamp (purple) printed in some time mid 20th century (about 1950s) with a picture of Ankara Dam (Ankara Baraji) on it
2 kurus stamp (blue-green) printed in some time mid 20th century (about 1950s) with a picture of oranges on it
Kurus was worth 100th of a Turkish Lira (TL) before the removal of the 6 zeros from the end to start the new lira. It has been long out of circulation.
