20 kurus stamp (blue turquoise tones) printed in 1950 at K.M. T.A.S. Alaeddin Kiral Printing in Istanbul. Commemorating 1950 Izmir International Fair conducted from August 20 to September 20 of 1950. Izmir Fair is still to this day one of the biggest fairs held in Turkey. (unused, with slight scrape on front)
30 kurus stamp (yellow brown tones) printed in 1950 at K.M. T.A.S. Alaeddin Kiral Printing in Istanbul. It has what appears to be a tobacco plant drawn on it (one of the valued crops of the region). Commemorating 1950 Izmir International Fair conducted from August 20 to September 20 of 1950. (unused)
Kurus was worth 100th of a Turkish Lira (TL) before the removal of the 6 zeros from the end to start the new lira. It has been long out of circulation.
